Cutimed® Sorbion® Sachet S

is a sterile, hydroactive, gel-forming, superabsorbent wound dressing. The dressing consists of a superabsorbent core and a hypoallergenic polypropylene outer layer. Both sides of the dressing can be applied to the wound. The product does not contain any pharmacologically active substances and is free of binders or adhesives.

Intended Purpose

Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S is intended for the treatment of exuding wounds with moderate to excessive levels such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and other wounds healing through secondary intention, oozing laparotomy wounds, fistulas to the skin, exulcerating carcinomas, postoperative wound dehiscence and similar exuding wounds.

Wear time: Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S can remain in place for up to 7 days, depending on wound conditions and saturation of wound dressing.

How to use

How to use
1. Select a suitable dressing size, so that the absorbent inner core overlaps the wound margins by at least 1 cm/0.4-inch.
2. When taking Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S out of the pouch, do not touch the wound pad.
3. Apply the dressing towards the wound. Both sides of the dressing can be applied to the wound.
4. Secure the dressing after selecting an appropriate fixation for the condition of the wound surroundings and the skin. While fixating the dressing, take expansion during absorption into consideration.
How to remove
To remove Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S, remove fixation tapes, lift one corner and gently remove the dressing and discard. Adherence of wound deposits to Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S is a desirable effect, contributing to wound cleansing.
